Enabling Lean Six Sigma for Aviation MRO Operations

– Aircraft operators in the private and public sectors
and third-party maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) suppliers
are initiating Lean Six Sigma programs in response to reliability,
quality, environmental and cost challenges confronting maintenance
and engineering operations. These initiatives focus on customer

to the maintenance program. Finally, an information system

and analyze task execution data and measurements that are
the foundation of Lean Six Sigma programs.
