Frontier Airlines Licenses FleetCycle®
Production Manager Software for Heavy Maintenance Operations
Speed and Ease of Installation and
Training Critical to Business Decision
DULUTH, MN, July 11, 2006
– Frontier Airlines has become the sixth major aviation
industry company to license EmpowerMX's best-of-breed FleetCycle®
Production Manager software application for scheduling and
control of heavy maintenance operations. After signing a contract
late in the first quarter of this year, installation and training
was completed within two months to meet Frontier's requirements
to initiate a scheduled aircraft heavy maintenance check in
May.
"We required a quick and thorough implementation as part of
the contract and the EmpowerMX staff worked very closely with
our operations and information technology team to ensure Production
Manager was up and running and our maintenance staff was trained
on an aggressive schedule to meet the requirements of the
initial scheduled A319 check," said Rodney Lueckenotte, director,
heavy maintenance for Frontier. "In addition, we were looking
for an application that would give us the ability to use our
labor resources efficiently and to capture the information
for future event planning and scheduling. So far, Production
Manager has more than met those expectations."
