Implementation
Summary/Position Overview
EmpowerMX utilizes leading edge technologies
and emerging industry standards to create world-class aircraft
maintenance software applications. We are currently seeking
several individuals to assist our Product Implementation Team
during customer implementations.
These temporary positions are ideal
for aircraft mechanics who have flexible work schedules and/or
are not currently fully employed and are seeking supplemental
work. Work availability is subject to customer demands.
These positions require national travel
to customer locations to provide hands-on customer support,
training, and technical support during the implementation
period. Individuals must be able to travel on short notice
to meet customer requirements.
Organizational Relationship
Works closely with other PIT team members,
Technical Writers, Customer Account Managers, Quality Assurance,
and Developers.
Major Tasks and Level Accountability:
Customer Support:
- Address customer questions and concerns
- Represent EmpowerMX at on-site customer
meetings
- Motivate end users on EmpowerMX software
solution
- Build and maintain working relationship
with end users
- Work CAM-assigned projects as needed
Training:
- Provide on-site, point-of-contact technical
training to general-user population and to customer technical
specialists
- Compile, edit, and format product documentation,
with an emphasis on training materials and software-related
help features
- Produce world-class product documentation
and instructional training materials
- Develop, write and produce hard and electronic
technical communications in a variety of digital formats.
- Help implement new software releases
- Mentor new team members
Technical Support:
- Work with the assigned CAM to configure
software for customer use
- Troubleshoot software discrepancies and
build trouble tickets
- Recommend corrective actions to software
discrepancies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Computer literacy
and demonstrated proficiency in multiple technologies. Preferred
experience will include desktop publishing skills and proficiency
in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project)
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated
ability to train or mentor others.
- Excellent organizational skills
Education or Experience sought:
- Aviation degree and three (3) years of
commercial aviation maintenance experience or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License highly
preferred
Additional Requirements:
Working Conditions for onsite hanger
floor training
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work unusual hours that include
working overnight shifts
- May be required to be on 24 hour on-call
status
- Potential exposure to hazardous fumes,
dust, and loud noise
Travel Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
to customer locations
- Flexibility for last-minute changes in
travel plans
- Ability to gain security clearance
for working in customer's hangar-floor environments
