Software Implementation Specialist

Position Description

Implementation Specialist is part of the customer implementation team responsible for the successful deployment of the FleetCycle® software solution at customer locations. This position is a hands-on role with direct responsibility for successful deployment of the FleetCycle® software product suite. In this role, Subject Matter Expertise, enthusiasm, communication and ability to interact with the customers are critical factors.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Hands on commercial aviation maintenance background. This is typically represented by 5-10 years working in an airline maintenance or MRO environment. Comprehensive understanding of the aircraft maintenance process, requirements, methods and terminology.
    • Significant affinity for IT and the application of software solutions within a business environment
    • High energy and enthusiasm for the deployment of IT technology
    • Ability to understand customer business environment, configure and deploy software into that environment
    • Excellent communicator
    • Ability to work in teams of 6-12 people
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Airframe and Powerplant certificate or equivalent
    • BS in Aviation, Engineering or IT

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites for project definition and deployment
  • Represents and engages with subject matter experts/business customers to understand customer needs
  • Liaison & Communication between customer and remote teams
  • Assist in the Configuration of FleetCycle® software application
  • Apply knowledge of aircraft maintenance and configure software to align with customer business requirements
  • Ability to create enthusiasm for the deployment of a new software product
  • Document customer business environment, configure and deploy software into that environment

Travel

  • 50-75% Worldwide travel required

Director – Sales, APAC Region

Position Description

Director Sales is responsible for the successful closing of Sales of EmpowerMX products and services. FleetCycle® is the flagship product suite sold to Airlines, MROs and OEMs. This position will be part of a team that is responsible for sales within the APAC region.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Experience in selling high value software solutions, demonstrated by a documented history of meeting annual sales goals
    • Understanding of the Commercial aviation maintenance environment
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce
    • Significant affinity for IT and the application of software solutions within a business environment
    • High energy and enthusiasm for the deployment of IT technology
    • Ability to understand customer business environment and translate that to a sales strategy
    • Excellent communicator and presenter
    • Ability to develop Sales presentation strategies and supporting PowerPoint materials
    • Ability to develop Sales proposal strategies and supporting MS Word documents
    • Ability to qualify a potential customer and develop a sales strategy
    • Ability to query a customer for key indicators and develop a business case document for supporting ROI
    • University degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation, Engineering or IT

Product Owner

Description

The Product Owner works within the agile process to make decisions regarding priority of features and defects, business value, and functionality for all the work done by the agile development team. The Product Owner possesses an in depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the product.

Requirements for candidate

Candidate has a strong aviation background within the maintenance and engineering domain, particularly with the maintenance programs, planning, configuration, materials and line maintenance areas. Preferred candidate has experience with maintenance and engineering applications, either built-internally or purchased software, which are used for maintenance planning and aircraft configuration/compliance. Ideally, this candidate has experience as a product owner, using agile methodology, to own and manage the backlog of requirements to drive value and meet customer needs for software products.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly articulates goals to communicate the project vision and conduct sprint planning
  • Makes business decisions and clearly communicates requirements through epics and stories so they are understood

Development

  • Provides business subject matter expertise to drive product direction
  • Creates, maintains, prioritizes, and sequences the product backlog based on business value or ROI
  • Creates user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint
  • Prioritizes user stories by business value
  • Decides which user stories are scheduled into sprints.
  • Provides rapid feedback.
  • Participates in project planning, daily stand-up meetings (scrums), reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.

Application Support

  • Reviews deliverable and demonstrable code after every sprint and has the authority to accept or reject.
  • Develops and maintains standards for testing and progress visibility.
  • Assists as needed with backlog maintenance.
  • Assists with internal and external communication to customer regarding release features.
  • Assists with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs.
